Sanjay S. Reddy, MD, FACS, Division Chief of Surgical Oncology, Co-Director of the Marvin & Concetta Greenberg Pancreatic Cancer Institute and Associate Program Director, Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship as well as former fellow, was recently appointed Vice Chair of the Surgical Oncology Program Directors Committee within the Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO), where he will help shape the training, curriculum, and accreditation standards for surgical oncology fellowships across the United States and Canada. Austin Williams, MD, MSEd, FACS, Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgical Oncology and Associate Program Director of the Breast Oncology Fellowship at Fox Chase, has been elected to membership in the Society of University Surgeons (SUS), a prestigious national organization devoted to advancing excellence in academic surgery. Hossein Borghaei, DO, MS, Chief of the Division of Thoracic Medical Oncology at Fox Chase, is a former Chief Fox Chase Fellow in Hematology/Oncology and the principal investigator on a study that is a collaboration between Fox Chase and LabCorp to evaluate an ultra-sensitive blood-based assay for early-stage lung cancer recurrence.
