2026 Practice-Changing Updates in Bladder, Kidney, & Prostate Cancers

Presented by Fox Chase Cancer Center and the Temple Health Office for Continuing Medical Education, this 2026 program brings together leading experts in genitourinary oncology to share the latest strategies for managing localized and advanced bladder, kidney, and prostate cancers. With rapid advances in systemic therapy, surgical innovation, radiation technology, and biomarke-driven decision-making, clinicians are navigating an increasingly complex treatment landscape.
This year’s program highlights first line intensification in metastatic prostate cancer, perioperative chemoimmunotherapy for muscle-invasive bladder cancer, evolving targeted approaches in renal cell carcinoma, and updated frameworks guiding treatment selection in non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. Faculty will emphasize how to integrate these innovations into everyday practice through multidisciplinary coordination. Through expert lectures, panel discussions, and case-based sessions, participants will gain practical insights they can apply directly in clinical care.

LEARNING OBJCTIVES:
- Select first-line intensification (ADT + ARPI doublet vs. triplet) and apply new biomarker- and PSMA-directed options in metastatic prostate cancer based on disease volume, fitness, and biomarker status.
- Integrate perioperative immunotherapy regimens and ctDNA/MRD-guided adjuvant decisions into the multidisciplinary management of MIBC.
- Sequence belzutifan-based therapy appropriately across RCC disease states, including the post-immunotherapy setting.
- Identify appropriate candidates for perioperative ADT + apalutamide with radical prostatectomy in high-risk localized/locally advanced prostate cancer, informed by PROTEUS.
- Apply revised risk stratification and BCG-unresponsive definitions to select from among FDA-approved bladder-sparing therapies, cystectomy, and clinical trials for NMIBC.
- Apply a multidisciplinary, biomarker-informed framework to coordinate medical, urologic, and radiation oncology care.
